So I got offered the part time job I interviewed for. It’s been over a decade since I had an actual official job. My geeky little heart is excited though 🙂
Damian.: You’re going to kick some arse
Samba Krueger: Yay. Those little jobs many times lead to bigger opportunities, especially when you are as awesome as you are.
Radha Krueger: Yep, I think it’s my foot in the door at the UF. My awesome. … maybe I’ll call my first perfume that.
Lila S.: Welcome to working at UF. It is pretty much okay.
Loka Saksini: Congrats! In what building will you work?
Radha Krueger: Dickinson Hall mostly, for the museum (which is why I’m in geek love with this job)
Dean Chance: Great news!! What will you be doing?
Radha Krueger: Just general web stuff 🙂
Jesse Novak: Congratz you!
Dean C.: With the museum? A buddy of mine works with doing geeky stuff with the ichthyology dept
Radha Krueger: Nice! I get to learn all about the many collections and curators 🙂
Erik A.: At the museum? Kool you will be working with the legend Kurt Auffenberg
Radha Krueger: I know! I’m so excited it’s ridiculous 🙂
Gopala R.: That is too cool! Hope you enjoy it.
Makaya C. M.: Of course you got the job! You’re amazing!
Shannon S.: Congrats!!
Damian B. is with Radha Krueger at the TOP.

I got the MyFitnessPal app again just to get a better view of my sugar intake (too much) and protein intake (too little). This app is great for keeping track. It is work to enter meals if you don’t eat a lot of packaged foods, since you have to guess at ingredient lists and quantity. It can make you hypersensitive about the food you eat. And although I didn’t set a weight loss goal, it’s making me paranoid about that, too. I do recommend this app, but like everything, you can’t get too wrapped up in it.
Margaret N. H.: Getting ready to gear up again in March. Careful with the sugar thing- it really sets a ridiculously low level if you have an otherwise balanced diet.
Radha Krueger: I know I over do the sugar. Glad to see everything else is good except lacking protein, calcium, iron, and potassium. Gives me a direction to aim for. I wish everyone did this for a while to get a good look at how well they were eating.
Jesse N.: Works well with Runkeeper and a Withings Scale. I’m too lazy to enter that stuff though…everything was custom since I make my own food and it’s rarely consistent
Rebekah S. W.: Radha, potassium is easy to add if you include dried prunes in your diet. Better than bananas.
