Looking back after the first year gone

We had a small celebration of my dad’s life today to mark the first year he’s been gone. Mom set out a table with many of his favorite things and we had lasagna and root beer floats. Music from Lawrence Welk to John Denver to Frank Sinatra. We read from the Book of Dad and we only cried a few times. There was mostly laughter.
