I guess it needs to be said again… hold up your thumb and look at it. That’s about the size of the average vagina space at rest. The cervix is at the back/top and makes very sure nothing goes past into the uterus. You can’t actually lose a menstrual cup up in there. It can be tricky to get out if it gets in a weird position. But your vagina is not a giant cavity in your body. It’s stretchy and very forgiving about letting a baby pass through. Which, by the way, having a baby doesn’t “stretch you out”. And Kegels are a thing that benefit *men and women*. Don’t be afraid of your body. It’s not “dirty down there”. Thank you for coming to my TEDTalk.

Carla G.: Also, if dt disability or such you lack the ability to touch your cervix under normal circumstances, a functional “lost” is possible. This happens fairly often, sadly.
