It’s been four years since my hoarding neighbor got shut down. I still don’t know if she ever got any help. The house is boarded up and collapsing. There are only 7 last street cats roaming loose from her hoard. I can’t measure the amount of emotional trauma and personal financial investment I’ve put into this woman’s breakdown. A woman I never actually had a conversation with. I hope wherever she is that she’s moved beyond whatever caused her to be like that. And yes, every day I measure myself against that to make sure I’m not slipping down into that madness.

I’m basically 0-13 for getting to bed before 10pm this month. #missedGoals
Aaron S.: It’s all about setting achievable goals. I for instance have successfully gotten to bed by 4am every night this month. #winning
