Stuff and things on a busy weekend.

6am alarm to go check on kitties and transport them to Operation Catnip clinic. Old colony cat already awake and having a bath next to my face.

Pulling out of the vet school to bring the kitties home, CD started playing “Who let the dogs out?” Hope kitties didn’t get worried 😉

Grace, one of our OC alumni, is hanging out, sniffing all the smalls on me now.

Mad respect for all of the folks that make Operation Catnip possible. Of 150+ cats, a bunch of kittens and a senior cat went into the adoption system and off the streets. Two kitties went home as tripods, having a seriously injured limb removed. And one big dude had some pretty hefty surgeries done to keep him off the euthanasia list. Plus all of the usual spay/neuter & vaccine stuff that normally happens. AND we were short-handed this month.
**I have to add that we had TWO cats that had unregistered microchips that were also not fixed. Basically someone paid to chip them but dumped or lost them before bothering to fix them. SPAY/NEUTER YOUR PETS. IT’S NOT THAT FUCKING EXPENSIVE. DON’T BE AN ASSHOLE.

Social media etiquette is becoming a thing. The courtesy “congrats” comments, the friend requests from people you work with, the polite ignoring of really obnoxious status updates. And then crossing the streams… if you “❤” a picture on Instagram when a friend’s accounts are linked, are you obligated to also “like” it on Facebook? Where is Miss Manners now? And am I finally assimilated into Southern culture enough to care about proper etiquette? My word!
