I hate that I’m being served ads for “whole body deodorant” suddenly.

My body is delicious. I don’t need to rub stuff all over it to make it socially acceptable.

If I sweat and smell like a mammal it’s because I live in Florida and climate change is a thing.

I’ve stopped wearing a thong on the sweaty days. If I don’t smell delightful, maybe don’t stand so close. 🦝

Jennifer S.: Kind of related- those Lume commercials really freaking bug me. I scramble to mute them when watching tv.

Margaret N. H.: Christ I hate those ads. People are supposed to smell like people. I out stuff on my pits b/c I live in Fl and that’s polite but my knee pits don’t stink for fuck sake!

Aaron S.: Wait, there’s a giant deodorant stick I can rub up against to stop sweating everywhere???

Amber Tee: Also, Lume made me smell HORRIBLE. 👎

Mary B. H.: I wish my son and his gf would use it

Carla G.: There are people whose natural flora is more unpleasant than others. If your coworkers pull away in revulsion consistently, you do need to do better.
Most people, I would imagine, don’t need an added step in their hygiene routine, with an added cost.

“Separately, the Department of Justice seized 32 internet domains that “the Russian government and Russian sponsored actors” have used to influence the 2024 election. In a malign influence campaign called “Doppelganger,” these domains produced fake articles that appeared to be from major U.S. news sites, to which influencers and fake social media profiles on Facebook, X, Truth Social, and YouTube then drove traffic.”

September 4, 2024 (Wednesday) – “Long tonight, folks, but it’s been quite a day. And even still, I did not mention the day’s horrific shooting at a Georgia school.

“Today, Vice President Kamala Harris announced a series of proposals to help entrepreneurs create small businesses. Like President Joe Biden, she and her running mate, Minnesota governor Tim Walz, argue that small businesses and entrepreneurs are the “engines of our economy.” In a statement today, they noted that “small businesses employ half of all private-sector workers in America—creating 70 percent of net new jobs since 2019—and do trillions of dollars of business every year.””
